埼玉県行田市の安産祈願 – 行田八幡神社 (ぎょうだはちまんぐう)

埼玉県行田市に鎮座する行田八幡宮は難病や癌を封じる「癌封じ」や「難病封じ」で有名な神社ですが、応神天皇や安産の神様である神功皇后も祀られていることから、安産祈願でもよく知られている神社です。

行田八幡宮は鎌倉時代、源頼義・義家が奥州討伐のためこの地に滞在した際、戦勝を祈願して勧請されたのが始まりと伝えられています。約1000年程の歴史がある神社です。

御祭神には応神天皇、神功皇后が祀られているため、安産や子育てにもご利益があるとされています。応神天皇は生まれてすぐに歩くことができたと言われ、神功皇后も臨月の身ごもった体で三韓征伐へ赴き、無事帰国後は応神天皇を安産で出産したと言われています。

行田八幡宮での安産祈願のご祈祷は基本的には予約制になります。電話で連絡をして予約をしましょう。初穂料は5千円からになりますので、お気持ちをお包みしましょう。

行田市には「埼玉古墳群」など歴史を感じられる場所が多くありますので、安産祈願の後は少し足をのばして訪れてみるのも良いかもしれませんね。
