愛媛県四国中央市の安産祈願 – 大福寺（だいふくじ）

四国中央市にある「大福寺（だいふくじ）」は臨済宗の寺院です。大福寺は日本のシンデレラとして伝えられている「お作様」に縁がある寺として、女性の参拝客も多く訪れています。

お作様は一柳藩の家臣の娘として生まれました。しかし幼い頃に父親が亡くなり、また一柳藩が西条藩へと変わってしまったため貧しい生活を送ることになります。

ある日、西条藩主松平頼致は休息したときに対応した美しい女性に心奪われ側室へと迎えます。その女性が成長したお作様でした。

頼致が紀州徳川家６代藩主となったため、紀州徳川家には2人の間に産まれた子どもの血脈が続いていくことになります。

子宝に恵まれたお作様には10人の子どもが産まれました。そのため、大福寺は縁結びや安産のご利益があると信仰されています。

安産のご祈願を希望される場合は、事前に電話で予約を行ってください。

大福寺では安産祈願のお守りも初穂料が決まっていません。お気持ちで決めてくださいとのことです。
