1620年、伊勢の山田曾右衛門と鎌倉の湯浅清左衛門はこの辺りを開拓し、開拓地の鎮守として伊勢原大神宮を創建しました。創建した神社の御祭神に由来し、この辺りは伊勢と呼ばれるようになりました。
伊勢神宮と同じく、内宮には天照皇大御神(あまてらすおおみかみ)、外宮には豊受姫大神(とようけびめ)が祀られ、全国でも珍しい社殿構造になっています。

伊勢原大神宮での安産祈願に予約は必要ありませんので、受付時間内の午前9時から午後4時までの間に社務所へ行き受付を済ませましょう。
公式サイトからご祈祷申込書もダウンロードできますので、前もって書いて持参すれば受付をスムーズに済ませられます。初穂料は5千円、1万円からとなりますので気持ちをお包みしましょう。
授与品にはお守り、お札の他に岩田帯も含まれますが、持参した腹帯もお祓いしていただけます。腹帯を持っている場合は持参し受付時に初穂料と一緒にお渡ししましょう。
